I have an '09 Rock Shox Reba Race fork that I'm trying to install with disc brakes. Does anyone know the thread diameter and pitch for the 74 mm brake caliper mounting posts?

I thought they were M6 x 1 mm but the screw seems very tight and I don't want to force it before I get confirmation. An M5 screw is too loose.

Should be M6...maybe there's some filings in there that need to cleaned out???

You have the right bolt thread. Try a different one. That bolt may have a burr at the end. Or the hole could be full of loctite. You might need to chase out the treads with a tap.
