Hi everyone!
It's about time I have to perform a full shock rebuild. I got all tools needed (sram specified) but there is one that really doesn't make any sense to spend money on. It's the RS IFP removal tool. It has a thread and to be honest my initial thought was to buy myself a screw long enough to reach the threads in the IFP assembly to take it out (simply by pulling it just as the specified tool does it). Just need to know what size of thread is on the RS tool? Any advice is much appreciated! The exact part number is: RS-00.4318.041.001
Cheers guys

Pretty sure its just standard metric threads for the same size bolt. Pretty sure thats what I used (a hex bolt).

Yep! That's what I thought. English is not my first language, so in other words i was asking about size determined by M2, M3, M4. Like the diameter of the threaded hole, not if the thread is standard. Maybe you could answear my question because you mentioned you actually did that in the past :D
Thanks!
