Swedish Opposition Ousts Social Democrats in Election (Update2)

By Jonas Bergman

Sept. 17 (Bloomberg) -- Sweden's opposition, headed by Fredrik Reinfeldt, ousted Prime Minister Goeran Persson's Social Democrats from power in the closest election in 27 years, after promising to cut taxes and boost employment.

The four-party Alliance for Sweden, led by Reinfeldt's Moderates, took 48.1 percent of the vote, compared with 46.1 percent for the Social Democrats and their allies, the Greens and the Left Party, according to a count of 99 percent of electoral districts by Sweden's Election Authority.
Note for Americans: By 'right wing' in Europe we actually mean 'Far left' in American.

I don't belive it, the New Moderates party went to this election calling them selves "the new workers party", which is a joke since they always been the party of the financial elite, and rose from 15% to 26% in one election...

Well, you know the proles are incapable of a hard day's work. It's tough on the Elite to keep pulling hard enough for everyone...

I know, they ask money for not going to work n'isht too. What a nerv.

In 1980 the average salary of a CEO was 8 times higher than the average salary of a worker. Mid 90's or early 20's the average salary of a CEO had risen to 42 times a workers.
But they defenetly deserve it since they work 42 times more hours than the rest of us.
