i have a roco tst-r on an 07 RM switch. There seems to be little adjustment on the majority of the TST knob until the very end then the shock will go pretty much to locked out. the majority of the TST knobs range has 0 effect on the shock. then at around 90 percent of the way around it hits a pretty good spot for most trail riding, then the last little bit of movement in the knob will put it to the locked out feeling. Should there be more adjustment in the shock than just at the very end of that tst range or is this pretty standard?
two things i have noticed.
1. when the shock is locked out i can feel/hear a ticking in the shock as it starts to compress. Its right off the beginning of the compression and it just makes a ticking noise. Its one those things that you can more feel through the seat than you really hear but there is a slight audible noise. I dont remember this being present at the beginning of the year when the shock was new. Do you think there is an issue here?
2. second issue is if i open the tst knob so the shock is fully plush and i ride a hard DH section where the shock is getting worked fairly hard i cant switch the lever back to firm up the shock at the bottom of the hill. I have to play with it for a minute to get it to be able to move. Is there an issue forming here?
for reference i came from a Cdale prophet with a radium rear shock prior to this bike so knobs and compression were not really a luxury on my old bike.
