my roco wc feels abit overdamped compared to my front counterpart, and was wondering if i could turn the boost down. I'm currently running minimum pressure, but was afraid i'd damage it if i ran no psi.

thanks in advance.

The air pressure is for bottom out resistance, not "boost" that's some Fox marketing term. You can internally adjust the air volume to make it more linear or more progressive. Its a matter of resetting it IFP depth when you are changing oil.

Yes, running no PSI is bad for the shock.

Which part of the shock stroke feels overdamped? The compression?

Are you sure you are running the proper weight spring?

Try getting it rebuilt with some lighter oil. It's not too hard if you're somewhat mechanically inclined/ familiar with working on suspension.

What bike is the shock on? Is it the stock the frame had on it stock, or did you upgrade it?

I know this may be an obvious question, but do you have the compression adjusted backed all the way out?
