Damn, 5 years of desert riding made me forget what it was like to slip, slide and summarily slam into the ground amid piles of wet leaves, branches, roots, rocks and mud. I love mountain biking! 15 k of pain and suffering on a new series of trails...cant wait til spring when it drys out...followed by beers. Good German hefeweizen...

Nice. I've only ridden in the desert a couple times while in Moab. Ridiculous traction.

2 very large heffes after a ride, followed by a schnapps and a 5k ride home willl definitely get into your head...then a couple of gluwein at the Weinachtsmarkt in town...had a good little buzz going all afternoon. Will work on pics, and see if its even legal to ship beer back to the States...

We did legit Gluwein at our German bar in VT and I still couldn't get into it. I would rather have a Celebrator on tap!!!
