Has anyone setup a Bighit with a Rohloff Speed Hub?
Will the standard speed bone torque arm work with the bighits disk mount?
Can you see any issue with running 6" or 8" shimano XT M755 disc calipers with the rohloff speed bone and rohloff 203mm or 160mm disc rotor?
Any other issues with mounting a rohloff on a bighit.
The model I'm looking at is the disc version with the TA axle setup.
Its a 2nd hand speedhub and comes with a speedbone, chain, tensioner, shifter, cables, 8" and 6" disc rotor.
Is there anything else I'll need?
Also I've heard that rohloffs are tricky to mount on FSR bikes.
I cant see any issue as this rohloff has a speed bone that attaches to the IS disc mounts rather than the torque arm that would connect to the chainstay (this would be a problem due to the horst link pivot).
If it works without issues I believe the Bighit is an ideal candidate for a Rohloff as the COG will be lower than most bikes due to the 24" rear wheel.
