Rolf disk wheel question

Does anyone know if there is some type of spacer/adapter required to use Hayes brakes with Rolf disk wheels?

I just acquired a new set of Rolf Dolomite disk wheels in an online trade - the wheels look great, but when I attempted to mount them on my bike I found that the rotors will not align with the slots in the brake calipers (both front and back). Even at the calipers limits of adjustment, the rotor still falls just outside the caliper slot (to the "inside" of the frame). I tried my local wrench and he suggested simply shimming the caliper adapter with some washers - sounded good. I picked up some stainless washers at the hardware store and tried this, but that created a new problem with the caliper body rubbing against the spokes. I then figured there must be some kind of spacer or adaptor for the hub itself that I do not have, so I called Trek directly (Trek owns Rolf), but their customer service technician didn't have a clue...at all! I am hoping someone on here knows something - any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Just try spacing the rotor itself. If there is not enough space, use spacers on the caliper as well. I do seem to remember a while back that some disk wheels needed adapters to work with different spacers. Take the serial numbers off the wheel and give Trek a call. They should be able to tell you if there is a spacer available...
