some questions about romics,
I have a 8.75 x 2.75 romic on my iron horse SGS, but its still really soft. I only weigh 130 lbs tho. I used a 300 and then a 400 lb spring.. The 400 is better but it still bottoms way too easily(like bunny hopping, rock gardens). If any of you guys are running romics on a IH SGS DH, what springs are you running? maybe i'm just tuning it wrong or something, but 400 lb spring seems enough for a 130 pounder.
Also, I have a 550 lb x 3.0 spring, but its length is about 6.5 inches. The 8.75 shock seems only to accept 6.25 inches or shorter spring lengths. Would using a Spring compressor to fit it in be a bad idea??
ps, my two romic springs, 400 x 2.5 and a 550 x 3.0 are on sale or trade(looking for 500-550 x 2.5) in the buy/sale forum.
