anyone try one of theese on an m-1 with a boxxer on the front.seeing how much more steering radius you get with one, I saw limited turning with the drop, tall, crown, and dents in the top tube on my ride.thanks.

I actually have one on my V10 and clearance is very good when mounted with no spacers underneath the crown.

You could turn the bumpers so the thin side is hitting the frame and that would also improve your turning radius with the Romic setup.

I had one on my Nucleon, and it improved turning radius over my stock crown. That thing was a sweet investment.

Sorry to kick this old thread up again, but since last week I mounted a Boxxer fork to my bighit dh frame (with 26" :-) after my beloved x-vert carbon dh gave up on me (2 cracks in the carbon arch).

But my main concern now is the RS dropcrown which keeps hitting my frame when turning hard... will this be solved by the Romic crown or will it still keep hitting it?

Get creative and make some bumpers!

I like to run my top crown as low as possible - On my Turner DHR, my Romic crown also hits my TT. So I bought some thick Dishwasher rubber hose and made some bumpers, which I affixed to the crown.

Or, get little clear rubber pads you can get at Home Depot (for furniture...etc) and stick'em on your frame. You barely see them and they work.

that is another alternative - but that wasn't an option for me since the crown hits the square edge of my TT :(
