So I put a new set of Avid Juicy 7's on my Enduro SL last night and for some reason the front rotor is all bound up against the inside pad(closest to the hub). I have used/set up Avids in the past and never had this issue. Anyone else who has used them knows how easy it usually is to get them set up drag-free. However, it almost looks like the caliper needs to be shimmed over--the inside pad is in constant contact w/ the rotor, no matter how many times I try to readjust the caliper position. :banghead: Any suggestions? Thanks.

I've had to shim between the adapter and the mount before, just used the ones that come with shimano's when I put Juicy's on from Hayes 9s. Try the pad contact adjustment it might help too.

Tried the pad contact adjustment but that didn't help. I think shims are the only answer. Thanks man.

You live in E'wood? Where do you ride?

What fork do you have on the enduro? If it's one of the Specialized in-house forks, you may want to make sure that they don't need a specific adapter like Boxxers or some Marzocchi's do. As for whether they do or not, I don't know off the top of my head, I don't deal with these forks at my shop so I'd say to just give Specialized a call directly if you have one of their forks.

It is the Specialized fork. I made sure before I bought them that no adapter was needed. The strange thing is that the back slid right into place. I think the shims will work. Thanks for the input.
