Rotor rubbing...grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

I've just picked up a Prophet and swapped the stock 160 front for a 185 that I had on the bench. I also replaced the Maxxis tread with some Specialized Enduro Pro's. After I put the wheels back on the rotors are rubbing. I torqued the front to 55in lbs per the Avid's instructions. I didn't touch the rear rotor and it rubs too. I've tried to align the calipers several times and I'm getting nowhere. If you know of any tricks or have a tip I 'd love to hear it.

I don't think you can put the wheel into a "screwy" position in a Lefty, so I'd count that out.

Stuff a screwdriver inbetween the pads and let it sit for a few minutes, then try again.

Take the pads out of the calipers, make sure the springs are still strong enough to push the pads back into the calipers. You may need to put new springs in. They are very cheap, can be found at your LBS.

a lot of times when you take a wheel out of the dropouts and put it back in on a bike with disc brakes, the wheel doesn't go back in and sit the exact same way, so you might need to align the caliper as well as do a little pad adjusting to get the rotors to stop rubbing.
