I'm about to pick up a set of Hope Mono M4's for my racelink and am wondering what your opinions are about running a 200mm rotor in the front and a 185mm in the rear vs. 200's on both. I weigh 160 lbs, by the way.

nope, the 185 in back is just fine. thats what mine is. run the same brakes. you do know that you need the rear 165 caliper and not the 185 one right?
BMW makes their floater 20mm bigger then standard IS. does that make sense?
i'll take a better pic if you like, also find out exactly what caliper numbers you'd need.

oh wait, the new MONO 4s are 160mm and 180mm. but same info that you need. cept i don't think the MONO 4s will come smaller then 180mm. so you'll have to run a 200mm rear rotor

You won't notice any dramatic difference between a 180/185mm and a 200/203mm. On top of it, the smaller rotors are a little less prone to damage and bending/warping.

Just make sure the calipers you have, mounted as you'll need to mount them (potential adapters included) have the appropriate rotor size. For example, if you buy a caliper which gives 180mm on an IS mount and comes with a 180mm rotor, and use it with a manitou fork adapter [hbsm20], you really need a 200mm rotor...Hope should swap new rotors for you, but you'll have to arrange it with them. Talk to someone who knows your setup and knows Hope brakes, which seems to be DHS in this case.
