i take issue w/ the headline "Megan's Law snafu fingered in rapist's murder". shouldn't it be "Megan's Law added feature fingered in rapist's murder"

His last conviction was for the 1987 knife-point rape of a 37-year-old woman.
Might of had SOMETHING to do with him being stabbed to death.

Police have yet to assign a motive for the slaying, but they say one possibility was that Oliver knew Dodele was on the Megan's Law list and didn't want him as a neighbor.
That's some fine sleuthing they've done, when the article points out that the dude, was found with the victims blood all over him, has effectively confessed, and provided a motive. You think they're stalling while they try to figure out a way to not convict him?

Can't say I'm too bummed out about the whole ordeal.

The whole megan's law thing sounds good in theory. But come on.....they guy that got arrested for fvcking his bicycle was put on a sex offenders list.



Actually, on second thought. I wouldn't feel comfortable raising my bikes with someone like that in the hood either.........
