I am in the process of trying to get my hands on a bunch of Royal Racing clothing for myself and to carry in the store on Transcend.

What sort of demand would there be for it? How many of you would be interested in picking up some Peaty gear? There is currently no distributor as far as I can ascertain, and i have never seen the stuff in stores here.

I would buy some...I was considering ordering it through Chainreaction but from you would be easier. You gonna have softgoods like hoodies as well?

I would buy the t-shirt that is a knock off of the Rolls Royce logo, those are cool.

I talked to the royal guys today. Looks like it will be 2005 before any becomes available to have shipped here due to pricing. It is produced int he UK, which means I will get KILLED on importing. Nafta wont save my ass here.

They will be outsourcing to china shortly and should have new stuff, produced in asia, ready to export hopefully by the season her eon the east coast.

In the meantime i am seeing what it would cost to buy outright, but it'd be pricey. Even shipping from the UK is a killer for some reason, much higher then say, Germany. Weird.

I am looking into other brands of clothing. I don't keep any dainese clothes in stock as it is ridiculously expensive. Sombrio is on that list Stone, I am just not a huge fan of theirs. Thanks for the heads up on the peaty gear sizing, i had heard it was small, but not that small.

so those are probably the reasons why no one else has picked up Royal in north america. personally, i'm not a fan of the dianese clothing. sombrio is OK, though, but tough to find (i bought a jersey off team rider glyn at one of the races last year).

The royal stuff is cool for sure, but does the market really need more saturation in the high-priced (Overpriced? hmmm) MTB wear section?

yes,actually.we do.

not trying to get on anyones bad side, but it is exactly what the MTB market needs right now. people like Peaty and his clothing company are at the forefront of progressing the image of our sport to the rest of the world, mainly through clothing.Sombrio,Royal, and now Cedric Gracia's line of clothing might be pricey, but i think it is the price to pay (READ:to some extent) to finally have our sport on the track to being recognized and respected by anyone in the world at any time.

it's all about the exposure.every little bit helps.
