I bought a Cannondale Perp 1, which has a RS Domain 318 fork.

I can get the fork to compress to about 130mm(5" roughly) and that's it.
It feels like this fork has all the compression damping in the world.(both adjustment knobs fully open btw.)

Anyone ever heard about a similar "problem"?

EDIT: Problem solved, way too much lubricating oil in the lower legs. Pressure builds up, and stops the fork from working properly.

Why don't you roll it back to the shop you bought it at and ask them? They could rebuild it, especially if you only had it for a few months.

It came from the factory like that. I've heard that it is pretty common for RS forks to have too much/too little oil from the assembly line.

It's also extremely common for Marzocchi forks to come with improper oil levels... so, the lesson is: always check your new fork's oil level. :thumb:
