so i put a new spring in my 40, and it did not come with a rubber shrink wrap on it for noise damping. is there anything that works just as well as the shrink wrap? i cannot switch it off my old spring because i sold it. any help appreciated. thanks!

we get it at a local electronics shop when we get forks in the shop with blow shrink wrap and hit it with the heat gun
