Basically my gf won an E13 drs in a slalom race, she has an old noisy mr. dirt guide on it now single ring, is it possible to run a DRS as an SRS? tough time trying to sell or trade the drs, so wondering if it could be done. cranks are hussefelts with an isis BB.

I wouldnt think so seeing how there is no upper section to the guide. Whatever derailluer you have is suppsoed to take the place of the upper guide. The backplates are totally different from the two guides, so its not as if you can just swap a part or two and make it work.

I would say send E13 an email, tell them what you have, how you got it, and what you need. I would be willing to bet they will hook it up and get you what you need.

Use it as a DRS then. Mount a front mech, any front mech, to guide the top. It won't drop the chain and should work just fine. The only time a DRS has ever lost a chain for me is when shifting it. Once on a chainring it stays there.

You can buy a plastics kit to convert it IIRC for pretty cheap.

You can convert an LG1 to an SRS, but the DRS uses a totally different backplate.
