Not quite Tacky yet not quite Slippery as Snot would be a good way to describe the dirt A bit brisk at 40* with a light wind but fun as hell. Its a no fun grind up the fire road to the top at 2500' but its all fun from there.
Some of the other guys just below the top
the grasslands are part of the old cattle ranch, spectacular views
as the Crow flies to the Pacific Ocean
San Francisco Bay and the Blimp Hangers at Moffat Field
The San Andreas Fault runs right under the Crystal Springs reservoirs in the distance
dropping down towards the Pacific Ocean ride of the ridge
then after another fire road grunt back to the top I dropped onto the San Francisco Bay side, for some fun muddy trails
Starting the final climb back up to the ridge top
back at the car
