I have been running San Marco Aspide's for a while now and up til recently thought i had found my saddle. The previous one had 10K miles on it before i pitched it. This one i have over 4k miles on and i can not for the life of me get anywhere near as comfy on it. Maybe my ass is getting fat? Any who i am thinking of trying a Fizik Atlante( spl?) this winter. Does anybody use this saddle? I know saddles are personal preference , just curious as to how they hold up.

I have tested it, but not on my bike. I am too looking for something new. I have been on Flite Trans Ams for years, but don't seem to love mine right now. I may go with an Airione.

I had an Airione for awhile but never really got comfy on it. Odd how a saddle can work for years and then not seem comfy.


PS: what was your impression of the one you tested?

I use an Aliante on my road and my XC bike. I have attended the Specialized seminar where they claim it has the lowest blood flow to the pee-pee, but my junk still seems to work.

I also have a Rival and I was using a Deva too. The splits are nice but not that important to me.

Have you ever though about an SLR? I've ridden the Aspide and found the shell to be too rigid. My SLR, however

did ride a SLR before...cut into my legs if i remember right...maybe the edges were to sharp? or maybe my legs are to fat?
