Do you ever get a rash or saddle sores?

I used to a lot. It helped to buy several pairs of good quality synthetic chamois and make sure they are washed after every ride!

Lance used cortizone on his sores, or at least that's why he said it came out in a test.

I never got saddle sores, but Vaseline works for everythings else. You can also share it w/the baby.

not if you always wear clean shorts and use chammy butter

Clean shorts, no lounging and a medicated cream (noxzema, udder cream, bagbalm (but not if you have a leather saddle) will keep such things at bay.

oh man its true. saddle sores pop up all the time.

Combining my Spec saddle, and my spec comp shorts. I dont have a problem, and for long rides, lather up with some Butt butter and your good to go

I've never gotta any saddle sores whatsoever.
Never used any cream.
And where low-end chamois........

I get slight irritation after a long day but it heals in a day or two.......i think thoose creams give the germs a place to hang out. Saddle sores are from bacteria IMO.......

theres a chamosis creme called "ass masters" so i wouldn't worry about it to much.

Good shorts, a saddle that fits and a clean ass. I always try to shower right before a ride. It seems to do the trick.

I got one this year, and I swear indieboy did not give it to me!!

I swear it was cheap shorts on a century ride
