Finally got it installed. It wouldn't install since I had moved my old Safari out of the Applications folder.

Let's see what happens...

What major advantages does it offer over v2? I like the moveable tab deal, got used to that way back under safari on my PC.

Not much. I can live without tabbed browsing, but my Safari 2 just went nuts in the last couple days.

At least it was an easy migration to Firefox, and with Safari 3, it held onto all of my bookmarks and autofills (which I love).

Does any browser have plug-ins like FireFox?

I downloaded it today...been a long time since I've been on a Mac, the browser is a bit foreign. I still like Firefox more (at least on initial impressions). I'll give it some time though
