Hey.

So, I had an e thirteen srs guide on my previous bike which was iscg 05. Then I got a session 88 that has iscg old. So I I bought an lg1 guide and when I went to use my chain ring on the lg1, and I found that it was not spaced out enough to fit up tight against the lg1 so my chain would not be in line with the roller or the guide piece on top.

So my question is; do I need a new chainring? If so, what kind?

from what it sounds like you need to space you chainguide backplate out, or possibly need the thicker backplate version
