Ok i'm going to try and describe the problem the best I can here. What happens is pedaling backwards or a recent gear shift, I get a momentary knock in the crank (or feels like it) It rarely happens but when it does it doesn't sound very healthy. I have a hunch it's not actually the crank but maybe the cassette/rear hub/front chain ring slipping or skipping. Has any one ever came across a problem like this? The setup is a 2004 Norco 4HUN with all stock parts. I took the bike to my LBS and described the problem but he obviously just shrugged it off or forgot because it is still happening. So I figured i'd pop a message on here for maybe some possibilities on fixing it myself.
