I have my Saint cranks setup with triple chainrings on my Bullit.Pretty sweet!

But what about the DH racing next season.So...

Q: I hope you "don't" have to grind the small chainring tab lugs off the cranks to use an E13 SRS guide?

Also, how many of you use triple rings & have good luck with the chain not comning off.
I havn't used a triple in a while & may just use a single 36T for 100% no chain derailments for every day riding. I wouldn't dream of racing DH with a triple because i know the chain would fly off in 200'.
A LRP or E13 DRS is cool too,but will probably will not be enough security for the DH race next season, & won't want to buy that, plus an SRS.

Basically i want to swap the triple setup for an SRS guide when a race rolls around, & want to know if grinding the jugs is necessary.

I've done SRS without having to grind the mounts off. You just may have to play with your spacing a bit...
Have also raced on a DRS setup no problems, too.

no, you don't have to grind the chainring tabs, just be mindful of spacing when you set it up.

I am running triple saints w/ one chainring, and I had to do some grinding to get my supercharger to fit onto the cranks. I am running 165mm arms though so that might have something to do with it.
