Not suggested for people with 45 in the rear view.
my FIL had a heart attack and died in his Saab while taking a break from shoveling snow. He was also a lifelong smoker and a total prick. I'd have pissed on his grave the one time the wife and I visited, but she asked me not to because her mom was there.

Anyone ever use this stuff?

I have a small rip in some riding shorts that I really like, so want to repair them rather than toss away.

I have aeveral pieces of ski gear riddled with that stuff, or the other brand that’s similar, Kenyon K-Tape. Works just fine for holes and rips in ski jackets and puffy coats. Should be fine for shorts repair, depending on what’s been ripped. One thing I’ve learned is to round off the corners and they won’t want to peel up as badly.

Yup, it works. Just make sure to clean whatever you are patching with isopropyl alcohol.

I’ve also patched the ripped palm of a mountain bike glove by putting the Tenacious Tape on the inside of the glove. It’s been a couple years and while I don’t wear that pair of gloves often, they’re still going.

Yes. It's saved the crotch in my Fox shorts. Been running them for 5 years with the patch. I might have replaced it once? It's good stuff.

Took kid #2 to doctor. Suspected pneumonia. Sent me for x-rays. Confirmed pneumonia. Phoned doctor who sent script to pharmacy. Just got back from pharmacy and delivered medicine to the boy's gullet.

Older boy had pneumonia 2 weeks ago. But still had a cough, so he's going back to the doctor tomorrow. Oh joy of joys. I love parenting, it's so awesome.

That said, while we were waiting for the script to be filled, we watched a little Brooklyn 99. In this episode Jake confesses to Amy he's scared of having kids because he had a deadbeat dad and doesn't want to mess it up. Because he knows being a dad is hard. My son asks me if it's true. I say yes. Was I scared before having kids? Yes. Why? Because there's so much to mess up and I was worried I wouldn't be up to the task. To which he responds "well, at least you don't have to worry about that now, you're a really good dad".

It's the little things isn't it...
