my FIL had a heart attack and died in his Saab while taking a break from shoveling snow. He was also a lifelong smoker and a total prick. I'd have pissed on his grave the one time the wife and I visited, but she asked me not to because her mom was there.

Anyone ever use this stuff?

I have a small rip in some riding shorts that I really like, so want to repair them rather than toss away.

I have aeveral pieces of ski gear riddled with that stuff, or the other brand that’s similar, Kenyon K-Tape. Works just fine for holes and rips in ski jackets and puffy coats. Should be fine for shorts repair, depending on what’s been ripped. One thing I’ve learned is to round off the corners and they won’t want to peel up as badly.

Yup, it works. Just make sure to clean whatever you are patching with isopropyl alcohol.

I’ve also patched the ripped palm of a mountain bike glove by putting the Tenacious Tape on the inside of the glove. It’s been a couple years and while I don’t wear that pair of gloves often, they’re still going.
