Using google trends, we can discover when people are most interested in bicycles
As we can see, during the summer and spring, typically warmer months with higher gas prices, interest in bikes increases.
Dorel Industries, which owns Pacific Cycle, has recently announced they are looking to a strong summer from their bicycle division.
Pacific Cycle brands include DYNO, GT, InSTEP, Mongoose, Murray, Pacific Outdoors, Powerlite, Roadmaster, and Schwinn.
Prius has been seeing more interest as well with this summer's high gas prices as people look to new, more fuel efficient cars.

I think the "summer" part is more significant than the "higher gas prices" part.

i tried to adjust the spacing on my e13 (inner ring skips), but i have more money than patience, so it's off to the shop
it's a lot more tolerant than i first thought. i went down wild thing & cowboy up @ keystone w/ the main bolt finger tight.
