That "P" mountain behind Palomar College in San Marcos, is there any XC riding there? There are some cuts but they seem like hiking trails. Someone's client owns that piece of property so we have free pass to explore.

yep, there are... but i don't know the trail system... unfortuntaely i lived there during the time i didn't own a xc bike... but from what my roommate was telling me, it's fairly simple to navigate & he ran into some other people there as well.
my shop is very close by.... about an exit east from where you took this photo... so i'm down to ride if anyone's up to check it out!

There's a top secret DH trail on the other side of the hill... I don't know about XC riding though.... There's a paved road that runs up the ridge from the other side and I've seen trails branching off...
I guess if you're gnarly enough anything is an XC trail right?
