I got this from SBMTV this morning. Any SB monkeys out there need to get to this tonight. We need NUMBERS to put our opposition in the hurt.
Hello all,
Wednesday April 4th is your monthly Trails Task Force meeting - the meetings
in which your trails, your use of the trails, and your access to the trails
is discussed by City, County, and Forest Service representatives. And YOU,
have the opportunity to give your input to the representatives. Anyone can
signup to speak about the trails, please do so.
Last March approximately 20 trail users attended - a combination of hikers,
bikers, and equestrians. And depending where you are; all-use, multi-use,
single-use, or no-use, public comment was both positive and negative. Show
up, sign up, and let the task force know how you feel - they need to be
educated.
This meeting SBMTV will be giving a presentation on the trails, who we are,
what we've done, and what we have to offer the trails community. Your
attendance to this meeting would be of great support to SBMTV and the other
trail advocacy organizations that will also be giving presentations, the
LPFA and MTF (Los Padres Forest Association and Montecito Trails
Foundation).
Support your trails!
