I was riding all last weekend during Sea Otter. Trails were deserted. It was awesome. But holy cucumber were some of them dusty!

The ride was really good. We rode up once and went down chup. Then we hiked up campers and back down chup again. It was warm, but being under the trees helped a ton with the heat. Goodtimes. =]

How was the overhauled almost new dh bike on the trails?

The overhaul is complete, although there is the most microscopic amount of play in my lower shock pivot, and I can't figure it out. Oh well. It handled Pacifica like a champ. I just need to tune the rear shock and adjust the air-pressure and Mission Control on the fork now. But it was great.

If you don't mind a heavy saddle, I've got a used WTB freeride one... it's a pretty wife saddle, but not much longer than a standard WTB. Give it to you for like $20.
