Looks like there's gonna be a crowd of mountainboarders invading the city this weekend (okay, so in the circle of mountainboarding, a crowd is anything more than 8 or 10, give us a break, it's a small community). Anyways, we'll be starting things up Saturday at Woodland Park and probably just make it up as we go from there. If anybody wants to come ride with us, or let us know of some more seattle spots, or (gasp) even wants to try mountainboarding we'll see you there.

I laughed my as$ off the first time I saw mtn. boarders at greenlake. not at them, but at the fact that for YEARS, bike riders have been getting kicked out of skate parks and now the skateboards are 'taking over' 'our' terrain. hahahahha.

I had fun watching them jump the jumps though. freakin awsome.
and what a perfect spot too, a cement downhill runway to a smooth rhytem section.

y'all should at least offer to do some diggin while your there though.....

I'll bring my shovel, although I don't see much in the way of repair work needed out there most of the times I've been up, you seattle folks have done a hell of a job on those jumps.
