This, again. And then working on the camper. I’ve been taking pictures, might do a full post later? Or maybe on a camper forum somewhere...Fuck this shit, I’m going for a ride.
If ONLY there was some modern technology or device that would allow you to contact them...,Was supposed to be clearing blowdown with a crew but got tangled up with shit regarding H's car so the crew is presumably up on Chandler Ridge wondering where the fuck I am...
And you have a motor....Dakota Ridge is rocky. True story.
Also, I’m not sure if Morrison Slide is worth it, @SkaredShtles .
No cell coverage. If ONLY there was some modern technology or device that would allow you to contact them...,
CW or S to N. Climb is too many short high intensity bursts and the descent is not enough to make up for it, IMO.And you have a motor....
You may be doing it wrong. What direction did you ride?
How did you survive on the East coast for so many years?CW or S to N. Climb is too many short high intensity bursts and the descent is not enough to make up for it, IMO.
East Coast riding was easy for me because no sustained climbs, more or less. How did you survive on the East coast for so many years?
N to S. Always. S to N riders are dead to me.And you have a motor....

They'll be gone by July, right ?Working on camp in Maine.
Mosquitoes have arrived.
Sweater Puppies?Drank with the lady last night. Had all the puppies over for a play date week long play date very tired puppies
I always do S -> N because I'm always doing a loop including Dakota Ridge. I tried it by going around the lower trail, then riding N -> S, but in the end decided that wasn't worth it.N to S. Always. S to N riders are dead to me.
I actually owe my N -> S bias to you. After riding RR -> MW -> DR and getting a taste of the uber chunk down hills going that direcrion, I'm not sure I could see trading that for the tamer downs going S -> N.I always do S -> N because I'm always doing a loop including Dakota Ridge. I tried it by going around the lower trail, then riding N -> S, but in the end decided that wasn't worth it.
If you're just riding MW from the main upper lot, N -> S makes a lot of sense.
Ever consider an e-bike? You dont have to lose speed on the hills, you are just choosing to.I did 50 miles on the tri bike this morning. 19.9 mph avg. The problem with living at the top of a hill is that I lose avg speed at the end of every ride, and today it cost me a 20 mph ride. I've never done 50 miles at that speed that wasn't a race. Bah! Did a 3 mile brick run immediately afterwards.
Well start sprinting down hill, duh.I did 50 miles on the tri bike this morning. 19.9 mph avg. He rode on Long IslandHow did you survive on the East coast for so many years?
I was in Boston for 4 years… Long Island wasn't really riding. That place is a flat sandbar. He rode on Long Island

9.77 and 971 squiggles. Good job!
Mine is always technical *pushing* up the S side.Although I suppose if you like technical climbing, going S -> N would make you cream your lycra.
Nobody does this unless the N side doubletrack is too muddy to ride. In that particular case, a S->N out-n-back makes sense...So @Nick and @Adventurous , do/did you guys ride Dakota Ridge S->N then?! My mind is blown.
More commonly イ is written as i, フィ would be fi as, the i is small.9.77 "maeru" and 971 "fueeto"
