Heading off to do the EMT gig at a Horse show on the other side of town. We paddled 8 miles on Lake Del Valle yesterday afternoon in just over two hours. Going to be an Ibuprofen morning for the shoulders

Swim lesson with the baby, then got her fitted for her first real shoes. Wife wanted her to pick pink ones but she wanted the "nana shoes" (yellow, at least inside). $57 including tax for baby shoes. Ridiculous!

It was my wife campaigning for pink, not me! I'm down with gender neutral--cheaper if future kid(s) aren't female. My wife is as well, in theory, although it didn't seem that way in the store.

Re: SS: I've suggested that, and Mariko certainly has lots of used clothes. My wife is weird about used shoes, apparently.
