It could be called FlowCoat™ But that's besides the point, since I wouldn't alter the trail to suit my needs like a lot of skinsuit clad dirt roadies would.

Recently added the 2.4 as a rear, paired with a 2.5 minion. It's not bad and certainly rolls faster.

I could see it as a rear with your set up. The rock razor i run in back is wicked loose/drifty until you lay the bike over. The cornering knobs equal the grip of the (awesome) magic Mary front. That combo is a laugh riot.

Ardents, ime, aren't trustworthy under hard cornering. I like the high volume and fast roll but I'd never run them up front.

It's ironic that I worked as a sternman in ME for many summers and am now allergic to crustaceans. Jelly of all those who get to enjoy feasting on the bottom feeders!

@johnbryanpeters : Round Pond-Pemaquid peninsula. My parents live there year-round now. If you stand on the docks it's the white house on the other side of the harbor. We used to take the ferry to Vinalhaven once each summer at daycamp.
