My whole day just went to crap. We were supposed to get on a train to meet the wife and then drive to a confirmation party. Wife text me she is super sick with a really sore throat. So now I am stuck home in the rain with nothing to do and has to miss the celebration for one of my best friends sons. All trains all the way to the city where the party is held was sold out too. All this misery could have been avoided if I had not broken my damn collarbone. It was supposed to be the fall of Clauuuuussssss :banghead:

People getting back to work and all the kids back in school with the coldest August in 16 years sure has made for a perfect opportunity for all the germs that has been suppressed during covid.

It’s just been raining and raining here, getting soaked on every ride. Sometimes i just ride to the brewery on a fat bike rather than go ride muddy slippery trails. That’s why I’m going south. Fire is warmer than rain.

Helping the in-laws throw a yard sale. Amazing how you can put out so much shit (and a lot of it is just that) and still have a house packed with more shit.

Hello all. BNT/Pfizer booster shot this afternoon. Maybe taking elder kid light mountain biking at Green Mountain later this morning.

I fucking hate Comcast. Managed to scrub $50 off my bill and get "faster" internet, but it took me 1.5hrs to confirm what services I actually have before I could get to at least those minimum levels. I cannot wait until our corporate first county decides that we can do better... so never.

Well this sucks, no one has come in today. Saturdays without traffic is not good. Not sure if it's the heat or the fact that NC has had 8000+ new cases of Covid for the past two days.

26.2 miles on the trail bikes. But we had to do a couple of miles on dirt roads to avoid an XC race climbing a trail we needed. So we missed out on a good single track descent

Time to go stand in a creek.

Thanks for checking. Just got out of surgery. They fused my D10-11-12. Sounds like everything went well. On the long road to recovery now. I definitely channeled the healing vibes that were sent from around the world. Thank you all. You are all wonderful people!View attachment 164134
I've missed many threads.... fill me in with your story. You seem to have time... ;)

Dammit. We said keep a stiff upper lip, not a stiff upper back...

Glad the surgery went well.

At least it isn’t the very bottom or top, you should be good to ride when it heals.
