What the hell is Kamikaze Downhill? Mad props to John Tomac for winning!
haven't been around long huh? :p

It's a 60mph race down the fireroad from the very top gondola at mammoth. It is outta control. It is where 62 tooth chainrings and rubber skinsuits were born. Downhill pretty much owes the kamikaze for much of it's creations (suspension, disc brakes, chain guides etc)

Major MAJOR props to tatoo lou for holdin down the fork for ther old guard. Nicest guy on earth, definetly deserves to win.

Welcome to the club!

they knew I was gonna take it.. bastards ;)
(Norba had the nerve to send me a postcard.. saying you're qualified!!. Obviously they did not crosscheck their qualifier results with the licences info where nationalities are clearly stated!)

I was pretty bummed.. Mammoth rules!

Thanks, smartmouth :thumb:

WHAT Tomac bike...the new one we got pics of a month ago or maybe an "old" 204?

I can't help being a big Johnny T fan :-D

Tomac rode a 204.

I got pictures of most everyone during dh practice. Photos will be up in a couple days.

Acadians results list from VN.com is kinda wrong... According to the offical USAC results Adam Craig got 2nd in the Kamikazee as well as winning the Super D, and finishing 2nd in the XC, 3rd in the STXC. That kid IS mountainbiking!
