I thought I had posted up before but I guess I just joined and lurked.

I live out near Seneca Falls, ny in the fingerlakes area

I'm getting back into biking, have had a few things that have made getting out on the trails difficult. (Building a house, new job, etc)

But, here I am.

I've got a trek 8500 that is a Frankenstein bike (or changed from the original form I got it) I've upgrade many parts, (stem, seat post, brakes, fork, drivetrain, etc) cracked the original frame I think it'd be quicker to say what is original on it than what isn't. Original 8500 parts: Crank arms, rear detailer, wheelset.

I used to work in a bike shop back in the day... Now I'm just out of shape

I am pretty new here too, but welcome. I too am out of shape, but I have had two back surgeries since 2005 so that is my excuse .
