Anyone going? I was thinking about racing the DH, is it worth it the $50?

Just rode the course yesterday.
Short format DH. Lots of berms and corners.
They put in a couple new jumps and a "rock garden" that well......it sucks.
On the whole I like the course, for practicing corners during the week. I don't think I'd do this race if I were looking for the most epic course ever.
Its a smaller hill than Santa Ynez, but it also won't be a million degrees. This is the only DH course I know of with an ocean view though

With a name like santa barbara bike festival, it should include sports like tying bells to the necks of hikers, lining them up like bowling pins and then plowing into them after a nice long g-out section on your dh bike. Audio CDs available for all participants.......
