I've got 2 rears coming for the big bike...going to run it on both ends. Just haven't seen one in person or know anyone who has ...

That's their least damped rubber & casing. Lightest and decent wear though. Those tread patterns are pretty slow rolling so not great to compare unless the Schwalbes are also a very aggressive tread. Is there a Schwalbe radial casing that compares in weight, durability, and rolling resistance to the EXO, or is their thinnest casing more like an EXO+?

More like an exo+
In radial atleast...

Trail pro is more than a exo+ and gravity is more than a DD..
It's like they one upped them on durability , like an in-between with durability being focus...

However man, lugs roll (griped like glue) at bike park lol..went to Bradley and the nomad was like farting under the sheets and keep expecting wife not to get pissed...

Lugs, low psi, wrong bike so it wasn't a tire issue it was a user issue...but man those radials stick to that slew line..was impressed...lugs would roll and not let go.

Lol getting older sucks, seems the desire to ride every moment isn't as important and I somehow have more restraint from a good time...WTF...

And then dont get me started on having patients, when the hell did that happen. I'm not a Dr. So patients I don't need ....

@Toshi you do you brother and life is happening for sure...I do have an update on tires and jump park though ..all good...I'm waiting to get out the the park again but more psi in shock fork and 30psi in the tires..need to try some different stuff to really get a handle on flat hard pack.(still not right bike but fun nine the less) good for review though of control and sticking to ground ..

Right now it's positive as hell I just don't think there's enough trial and error on my behalf. They do exactly what they claim I want to push em for unintended use and see

I'm getting tempted to get a set of Shredda Rears to run F/R on the eeb this winter. Normal side knobs instead of pointed the wrong way, spacing and knob height look decent for mixed conditions.

I ordered mine same set up already...front is way too big for here...these are probably too big as well but I'll run em and see.

I keep hearing lugs the wrong way for sides but in all the years I've ridden them I have yet to have an issue...they dig and rip...off chamber where the sides should slide , they don't especially the tacky chan...that's a saw blade man it digs and holds line...

I found the Shredda weights on the Schwalbe website and decided to go the MM front & rear route instead. Shredda gives Michelin a run for their money, 1,500g for the 29!

I know older versions of MM work well on my trails as long as the ground is soft. Once it turns to dust over hard is when I don't like them, but that's fine, I'll go back to my Contis for that. Looking forward to seeing how these suckers handle wet roots.

Fanatik has 29 MM Radial in both Grav Pro Ultra Soft and Trail Pro Ultra Soft in stock, and 27.5 MM Radial Grav Pro Soft. From Schwalbe's website, they currently only make the 27.5 MM Radial in Grav Pro Soft.

My MM Trail Pro 29x2.5 arrived yesterday, still waiting on the Grav Pro 27.5x2.5 for the rear. Trail seems to be similar stiffness by the bead as a Conti Enduro casing. It went on Reserve 30 HD rims without levers, aired up easily. Right off the bat I went up 4 psi over what I was running with Conti Enduro (18 psi), and that seems like a good ballpark to start. Rear should arrive today, so hopefully I can get a ride on them soon.

I did a little side by side test between the 2 bikes where I turn the bars 90 degrees, lock the front brake, and push hard and steady on the bars to see how much the tire squirms on my concrete garage floor. At 22 psi, it still seemed to deforming / had a larger contact patch than a Conti Argotal DH at 18 psi.

Knob width on my 2.5 MM was 24.4". 2.4 Argotal measured 2.4" at the knobs.

Add a psi or 2...I ran a rockpile trail the other day and have a radial Mary up front and a non on rear..I could feel the back end chucking around lol even low pressure . It's a gravity casing as well just not a radial..(ADHD is making it hard to have it on there now, it's bugging me).
Nick nestroff been digging a lot of these chutes and trails over last year or 2..steep, loose, tech, big rocks with lots of little drops...he's obviously way faster lol...

Almost ordered a 29" chan for that rim I'm testing since it's the only 29" rear I run, couldn't do it, it wasn't radial.....opted radial Mary gravity pro...

Was chatting with schwalbe this morning and don't be afraid to take them up 4-6psi ...they will squirm a slight bit more due to them absorbing energy and spreading it out...when hauling ass on rocks you don't notice that what you notice is your ability to hold line and stick to the sides of rocks lol...and or exit off the side of a rock and swap lines..

I ordered a few more tires today and waiting on 27.5 gravity radial Mary to be back in stock...going to grab 4 or 5 for my back up tires.. for when I don't run Albert rear...(Which is a bad ass all arounder)

The Shredda rears will be here this week so next week I'll slap a set on front and rear and go see about lug roll..I'm excited to give these a run....

In rocks and nasty chutes I literally didn't realize how much was being left on the table with non radials. After the run Sunday...I realized that it raises the ceiling for speed and user error...

I don't ride xc and if I did there's pros and cons of these for that discipline.....but Enduro and DH...they work for my riding style ..

@Andeh I am curious to hear your pros and cons on them....for me they are a better fit than other stuff I have ran and I'm making sure to try a couple different threads to make sure I get a handle on what's best Enduro vs DH, front / rear.

For others they may just fit with a different tire company tread better...but that's good because its honest and fits them better...

I do like maxxis even with small issues, that happens (so what)...dhf I like and assegai saved my ass a couple years ago...thought it was going to blow a corner off a step down I came in way hot...SOB gripped and ripped ..so I am not a total fanboy, there are a lot of tires I think kick ass...the radials just took what tire I prefer and made it even better..

Which Conti?
I hate my Kryptotal for loose over hard, tap the brake and it just just steps out. I'm not on the Schwalbe hype train yet, I have some Pirellis to get through, and I really like them.

Do Shredda rear on front and back of v10...I don't mind the little extra on DH bike but not on anything I need to pedal...or maybe on an ebike that would be decent...
