Hi Everybody,

I've scratched the sliders (shiny leg thingy's that go into the lowers) in a few places on my '03 Slider and I'm wondering what I should do to touch them up. Some friends suggested I lightly sand them with #2 sandpaper. Another suggested clear nailpolish...

Any thoughts?

i scratched a stanchion on some super star 8s and took it to a a local bike shop who recomended i take them to a motor bike shop.

the motor bike shop then repaired it for £5.00 and i couldnt even see the scratch. I dont know how they fixed it though....

Yeah, my friend had the same thing happen, and I think the motorcycle shop just buffed out the scratch or something. If it's a super-deep scratch then you might wanna consider ordering a new stanchion from the fork manufacturer. But take it to a motorcycle shop first.
