How do I do a screen capture on a powerbook?

Hit the print screen button and paste to a photo program such as photoshop

Also, Alt + PrtScn captures only the active program window and not the entire screen.

just let go of the mouse. the capture will be on your desktop, named Picture 1.pdf (or 2, etc. if files exist). in Preview.app you can export this pdf in most formats you might want, File -> Export

speaking of which, why does my minigolf title keep on flitting in and out of existence?

side note for mac users: http://www.schubert-it.com/pluginpdf/ is a great, free (for educational users at least) plugin for safari and other WebCore compatible browsers that lets you view pdfs inline

You can also use Grab.app, in your Applications/Utilities directory, if you don't want to muck around with .pdf files.
