im going to sdsu now. are there any trails/jumps, too much to ask for a little downhill? does anyone around sdsu ride/ have a car?

Lot's of places to ride in SD, but not much around SDSU. Mission trails isn't that far for normal riding. All the choice DH,FR stuff is pretty far away from the college area and would requre other modes of transportation. What riding are you looking to do... mostly.
im just looking for anything fast, hopefully bermed and a few doubles tossed in. i could see from the chem lab building a few spots across the 8 that might have some slalom potential. down to dig

Careful, La Mesa cops can get a bit pokey with their night sticks. That place is inhabited by mostly AARP members. You know how that goes. There are a few local DJ places not too far from a trolley or bus (if you don't have a car). Like loveBunny sez, plenty of places.
