I've ridden bikes for a long time and was always dirtjumping on a hardtail. Then I stopped riding for a while but when I started again, it was with fullsquish freeride rig. Long story short, I just am looking for a basic (ss,rearbrake, frontsuspension) hardtail to rip the trails I've been working on because my big bike DOES NOT cut it. I can pick a brand new DJ Flyer from my LBS for a bit under cost, so is it what im looking for? couldn't find anything already on ridemonkey regarding the bike

yup. i dont know what fork though. low end marzocchi 80 or 100mm dont remember. I dont really wanna spend much more then this because my budgets so tight right now. Im just sick of fixing my fullsquish and decided to add a hardtail to my garage. As for trails, everything thats around and the jumps that are around the general area. My trail also. I want to build some dirtjumps too.
