Today was the Super XC stage.

Just tidbits of info, sorry, I'm excited for Dunlap.

I'd like to be the first person to say that Galeforce is stupid, and the idea of "super xc" being a STX race with more pavement is abhorent. "Hey let's have a cross race, in April, with absolutely no technical elements, and we can charge pro's $150 to race in our event that pays as well as a cat 3 crit in Iowa"...

At least there are some UCI points available on Sunday.

I'm not entirely certain of the exact format of the "super xc" race but its probably one of these new "designed for spectators" type races.

It was a short loop - 3 mile circuit, 800' climbing per lap, race for 60 minutes or so.

That's should be great preparation for the Sonoma National in May that is a 4-5 mile loop, mostly paved. LAME!

I sooo want to skip that race, it doesn't even sound fun.
