pffftt. no alexander and no tightend= a very rushed hasslebeck even with the four wr sets. He will get hit hard and often and the bears defense will be able to benefit from his mistakes. Hell our offense is doing things and as long as Grossman doesnt make a number of bad decisions it'll be bears 24-seahawks 7

yes. the vikings are a better team than they are givin credit for but the bears defense was struggling and for the first time in a looong time the bears offense picked up the slack and won the game.
as far as the seahawks they capatilized on two mistakes very early and quickly were up 21-0 in the first quarter. there was no coming back from that BUT eli and the giants damn near made a game out of it

the seahawks defense has been good for the last couple years making big plays but if the bears limit there mistakes 35-0 bears.

Bears 24
Seahawks 9

After BARELY beating a bad Detroit team (Who Bears beat 34-7) eaking one out over Arizona, and finally looking solid against a porous Giant defense, only to give up THIRTY points in the 4th quarter ('gainst the hapless Eli Manning), Seattle sure hasnt impressed me much.
Chicago, on the other hand, has outscored its opponents 70-23. Their only CLOSE game came aganst a division rival with a perfect record ON THE ROAD...and they still won.

Seattle wont reach the endzone. 3 field goals is all they wil muster against the best defense in the league. Super Bears, Super Bowl. Seattle SUCKS on the road.

EDIT:
Look what happened to Hasslebeck's mentor.

Got TANKED!

Seahawks 38, Bears can go to hell.....

The Seahawks are the most complete team in the NFL, and I think Mo Morris has looked more explosive than SA all year (likely due to the foot injury, but whatever). He'll be a suitable replacement.

Lol!

38 points against Chicago's Defense at HOME? You dont know the NFL do you?

They averaged EIGHT ppg last year at home. This year, 7 so far. 38 is simply NOT going to happen, no matter how big a homer you are.:busted:

Burly are you going to accidently overdose if the Bears get there asses handed to them by the mighty Seahawks?
Of course not. In the long run, this game is actually pretty meaningless other than that it will act as a tiebreaker come playoff time. Both teams will drop a game or two over the course of the season, but the two of them are CLEARLY the class of the NFC. I wont kill myself unless they lose the NFC Championship Game. (which will be a replay of this one unless Seattle gets beat by New Orleans or something).

...another thing that I think is going to be great about this game is Holmgren and his vaunted "4wr sets" which is basically the same thing as admitting your team is one dimension. But I have to ask...WTF is he thinking?
Chicago has a pro-bowl safety and a pro-bowl corner. The other corner was an alternate and the NEW safety is a rookie who may be the fastest player in the NFL.
Add to that, that Brian Urlacher is the best coverage MLB in the game...Seattle wont be able to pass if Chicago is expecting the pass. Its that simple. Sure, theyll hit some underneath routes, but this isnt the Giants.
I found it funny how last week, R.W. Mcquaters, returned a hasselbeck int for a TD. He is a former Bear and was the WORST one, yet he still owned hasselhoff. Tommie & Tank will dictate the pace of this game. I just dont see how Seattle puts up very many points.
My concern is Chicago's own scoring ability, but like I said, they hung more than thirty on Detroit and Seattle put up nine. How's that for homer analysis?

Hmm i'll concede that Chicago's d is still little better than the Seahawks this year. But the improvements made by the Hawks defense has not been accomplished by the Bears offense no matter how many folks feel about this Groozman fella. He'll probably twist an ankle in the first quarter and go hide out in the locker room anyways.
It's the same story, even if the Bears give good field position by stopping a drive Chicago's offense is still futile.

Holmgren does not fear Soldier Field, look for double digit offense from the visiting team.

You're forgetting that Hasselhoff was getting hit, threw up a duck, and McQuarters had to do what? Run 20 yards.....oh that's a burn.... The 2nd int was tipped at the line.... The first one should've been reviewed as ties go to the reciever. I'm not saying anything against da Bears on this, I'm just putting the facts out there in a different light.

Detroit was a fluke for Seattle. The Lions had something to prove in Week 1 against a team that made it to the previous Superbowl. They were amped. Hawks were not.

As for Arizona, the same thing that you mentioned for Minn can be said for AZ. They're improved, but the best teams pulled it out. 4 WR's can run all over any D....As long as our O-line can give Hasslebeck at least 1 or 2 extra seconds, I expect at least a 24-14 Hawks win.

That reminds me, I need to pick up some extra beer tonight....You'll be able to hear me yelling "LOFA, LOFA, LOFA" all the way from my house! :happydance:

"Ok..ok...ok...Ditka versus da Bears..."
"Oh....that's a tough one......"
"Ummmm....Ditka by 3....in overtime..."

Seattle
Arizona has the largest defensive line in the league. If we can "eak out" a win against that with our wounded offense the Bears are going down.

Squirrel, Skook...have you guys actually watched the Bears play any? Honestly, tell me.

They have given up two TD's all year. One was an int. returned for a TD, the other was from the 1 yard line off a 45 yd. pass interference penalty when they were up by 24.
I just think you're underestimating what you're going to see sunday night.
Im not saying Seattle doesnt have a shot. I mean, its the NFL. Any given sunday right... but if Seattle does win, it will be a slugfest with very few points scored.
That 1 or 2 extra seconds isnt going to come against the Best D line in the league with 2 probowlers and two alternates. Hasselbeck's only shot will be quick hitches and slant out of a 3 step drop, and you dont rack up yardage that way. Eventually, the Bears will force a turnover. That's just how it is.

Also..."Lofa" is a good young LB, I'll give him that, and Peterson is a force as well. And IMO, Trufant is probably the most underrated corner in the league. He has true shutdown games...but they're not Urlacher, Briggs, and Vasher.
Our O-line is solid, and unless you blitz, Rex wont be under any pressure. He can pick apart the secondary like only a couple QBs in the league if he has time. And he will have time.
I dont expect the Bears to run the ball all that well, but that passing game will be there. We have too much speed at WR. Too much not to make plays. Our pass rush is far superior.

 Bernard Berrian, Muhsin Mohammed, banged up Desmond Clarke.... Speed? Ok....

Yes I have watched the Bears play. I watched almost the entire Minn game and a good portion of the Det. game. Vasher and Brown have not impressed me strictly because they have yet to be tested this season. GB, Det, and Minn are not the cream of the WR crop. Jackson, Engram, Branch, Burleson are. 2 speed, 1 big, 1 crafty.

Alex Brown doesn't scare Jones, Strong will help Porkchop with Wally Lastnameunspellablenow. Spencer, Locklear, and Sims will have they're hands full with Johnson and the other tackle (I can't recall his name right now.) but inside DT's can be contained more easily for pass protection....

As long as Mo Morris has around 70 yards running around the outside, it should bode well for the pass attack. Urlacher is great. He'll make Engram's life hell, no doubt. But there will be more open that just 3 step drops. Aight....I'm done....for now. :happydance:

Berrian is a speeding bullet and although Moose is not that fast his hands are proving that he is our possesion wr. Our third wr davis is also coming up HUGE. The tightend in the bears offense is only important as a last option and Gilmore will do that job just fine.

Although the seahawks wrs are good the only play they will be able to make is quick slants and they will get punished.

As far as the hawks o line they are going to get tortured! Tommie Harris, alex brown, Ogunleye are going to have a big game. When our starters are tired we have depth at the d line to make plays late in the game.

You don't hear Vasher's name because people don't throw around him. Brown is playing closer to the line to limit his running around he defends more of the run game than the pass game now.

And Berrian is a bullet he runs a 4.3 in less than ideal field conditions.

And don't count out the crowd. They messed up Atlanta last year big time at night.

Burly,
