None. The smaller a person gets, the less drop the body needs. What you want to look at is not how the bike is set up as much as what position the body is in. My road bike has no drop either from the bar top to saddle. But when I'm on the drops I have a pretty flat back.

I ride with some tall guys who have considerable drop but ride in a similar body position to me.

interesting, so I don'y need to really worry about getting a big drop like some of my mates have, mostly about 6' tall and 2-4" drop.......I'm 5'6" and have just less than 1"....?

I try to keep my bar about an inch below the seat, mostly because I find it more comfortable. This is only an opinion, but I think if your bar is 3 inches or more below your seat , your frame is too small.
