We had a previous thread here in DH/FR where we had some chuckles at the XC dudes falling over from smallish obstacles, but that seatpost height is a real killer for your agility - even worse than the head angle probably.

If you want to have a laugh, this is easy to test for anyone, if you haven't already. Be prepared for OTBs though!

My issue is that droppers have too much drop. I don't need a lot more room, and it just feels wrong for the seat to go lower than on my DH bike. A 50 or 80mm dropper would be perfect.

gravity dropper. i run the 1" and 3" drop version and i agree, it's all i need. they also offer a 2" drop and do custom drops.

for park riding a couple inches of height adjustment is perfect , but when it comes to true techy single track i like as much up and down adjustment as i can get with the seat .
