I won a nice (used but still fully functional and in good shape) Syncros seatpost on Ebay about a month or so a ago and it is really long like 425mm long. Wouldn't mind trading it for a comparable post that's shorter - say 350mm or so.
It seems like it would be a shame to cut a post as nice as this classic Syncros so I thought I'd throw the idea out there to the 29er forum since some of the newer frames (Niners, Raleighs) require long posts.
Let me know what you might have.
