To answer a few of your questions. I have put alot of saddle time in on one but I am 110 lighters than you so that does no good eh? There are some guys that put down some mad power on these and never heard any complaints but none quite your size. As far as this bike goes, the other side is in the same shape, no scratches at all, never been laid down.

Yeah. Pretty much what I figured. But the more I look at carbon frames, design, and manufacture...the more confidence I gain in switching. I don't think I'll be putting out the wattage that racers like you do, so it shouldn't be an issue.

Getting proper brakes won't be an issue for me (that's the only part that won't switch over from my current ride) so that's cool.

Oh, one final question: what's the largest tire size that I can run??? (I like running 25's....but I know that's a no-no on select frames)

I will let you know shortly on the final decision.

Thank you !!!!

I actually have an extra set.....

If anyone here does not need or deserve another set of chi chi wheels it is you sir.

I on the other hand deserve them. Y'all owe it to me.
I both need and deserve another set of cool wheels, come on now!
All these nice bikes need nice wheels.

Just putting the finishing touches on the redone F1SL, since I decided to move on from the AR, I took some choice parts off of it. A mis-snipped cable housing killed me this weekend.

While I can't speak for this particular frame, I will say in sweeping generalities that you can't really go wrong with a good carbon frame these days, even at your weight. I'm not a light guy either, and I haven't had a problem with any bike I've ridden in recent memory. There are way more upsides than down.
