hey guys tried to get this stuff today, but could not find this at hone-depote, you think they would have this stuff. Is there another name for this stuff that would help me find it when i ask around, maybe an exact brand name! thank you.

I found pipe thread tape, but i don't think this is the same stuff it just fits this discription please help me out ASAP

Look in the electrical section with the electrical tape. But you don't want regular electrical tape, you want rubber tape.
